UBB: Tree of Temptation Punishes Victor

Day 92: Housemates should know by now not to mess with the Tree of Temptation - something Victor Ebuwa seemed to forget this week! For failing to record housemates bitching on his Victor-phone, the Tree has got it in for Victor......

In memory of BB5, when Michelle and Emma forced Victor to have a cold shower - the Tree of Temptation let Victor feel his wrath today by turning off the hot water as he showered earlier. Victor stayed in the shower for the shortest possible amount of time possible before putting his trademark black dressing gown back on and storming out of the bathroom in a huff. The Big Brother 5 legend told Nikki, "I've had enough of this stuff man, I've done my time".

The Tree has already punished Victor by making him dress like a tree and eat a selection of disgusting foods from around the world. Will Victor crack or will the Tree finally forgive?

UBB: Victor Gets Tree of Temptation Task

Day 91: The Tree of Temptation returned to give Victor a secret Task. While the Tree began to speak with Victor as he was alone in the bathroom, both Ulrika and Brian seemed to notice something was happening despite being sat on the sofas.

"Well well well, if it ain't the self-styled milk man himself, so called because he always delivers," the Tree began. "You've successfully plotted, bitched and schemed about every single housemate and I can let you in on a secret, you didn't get any nominations!"

Victor seemed very happy to learn that not one of his housemates had nominated him this week, and was then told to open the Tree's drawer, reports DigitalSpy.

"In my drawers is a dictaphone, a 'Victaphone' if you will," the Tree told him as Victor began to giggle. "I want you to record them bitching about each other, you've got one hour to do it."

The Tree confirmed that there would not be a prize for winning the task as he wanted Victor to complete it "just for the crack of it".

However, before Victor left the bathroom to begin his mission, the Tree warned him about Ulrika and Brian's suspicions.

"They're on to it, so give them a wide berth," Victor was advised deciding to head over and speak with Preston first instead.

As Victor finished speaking with the Tree, both Ulrika and Brian agreed that while they were certain Victor was on a task they would not ruin it for him in case they could win something for the whole house.

UBB: Nasty Nick Writes Notes Again

Day 80: The Tree of Temptation has caused Nick Bateman to return as Nasty Nick with the latest Task.

The Tree revealed who was up for eviction this week and provided him with slips of paper on which he had to write the names of those people and hide them around the House.

Nick promptly set about his task and immediately began writing on and hiding the slips of paper.

The reward the housemates will receive if he is successful is plush cotton bedsheets for the Bedroom.



In true Big Brother style, Darren from Big Brother 1 entered the House and immediately began acting very suspiciously, searching around the House for something...

He then started finding slips of paper with people's names on hidden in various places. These slips of paper were those hidden by Nick for his Tree of Temptation Task and they revealed the names of those people who are up for eviction.

However, Nick was unaware that Darren was tasked to find these slips of paper and he started behaving extremely nervously, denying he was involved and playing the innocent victim.

A short while later, Big Brother gathered all the housemates at the kitchen table and it was clear that Darren was set to make an announcement of some kind.

'Nasty' Nick, slips of paper, a meeting at the Kitchen table... ring any bells? What was Big Brother up to...?

Big Brother then announced that Darren would be announcing this weeks nomination results and that he should read out the names on the slips of paper he had found; Coolio and John McCririck.
It was all a big game played out expertly by Big Brother and his cheeky friend the Tree to reveal the nominations to the housemates! What a couple of sneaky schemers!!

BB11 VIDEO: Andrew Gets His Legs Waxed!

Day 76: As Part of his Tree of Temptation Task, Andrew had to answer 'Yes' to all the housemates questions, little did he know that one by one the Tree let the housemates in on the Task.

Andrew ended up agreeing to have his legs waxed and the video above shows the painful results as he won a 'Perfect Day' as a treat for all the housemates.

BB11: Mario Streaks Again!

Day 74: Mario couldn't resist the opportunity to get naked again as he paraded around the Big Brother house in nothing more than a top hat - much to the embarrassment of Andrew. Due to a task set by the Tree of Temptation, Andrew has had to say yes to all the housemates requests. In a twist, the Tree told Mario of the task and allowed him to manipulate it to his advantage.

As Mario brushed his teeth while standing naked in the bathroom, Andrew went to chat to him. "Are you going to make us lunch today?" Mario asked, with Andrew replying: "Yeah, alright." Feigning surprise, Mario said: "Really? Are you going to make us lunch today?" Andrew confirmed that he would, before Mario sat on the student's knee, leaving him clearly uncomfortable.

While Mario, David and Andrew talked in the bedroom, Mario said: "Andrew, I'm going to be bold. Can you make me some eggs on toast?" The 19-year-old replied: "Can you do me a favour and throw some washing in?" As David and Andrew discussed whether washing needed to be done today, Mario chipped in: "But will you make me some lunch?" Andrew replied: "Yeah, yeah."

Mario then asked Andrew to sit on his lap, before adding: "You can be my puppet, do you want to be my puppet?" Andrew replied: "Yes." The aspiring fashion designer then proceeded to do a puppet show for David, making Andrew say that he fancies Mario and has learnt that he "must stay away from watermelons" since being in the Big Brother house.

BB11 VIDEO: Dave Breaks Down In Tears

Day 64: Not once but twice we find Dave breaking down in tears, as seen in the Big Brother video above - Dave was having an emotional cry as he revealed to Corin that he was missing his family. Then the tears really started to flow later when he received a letter from his children after Sam Pepper won the Tree of Temptation Task.

"Big Dave says, 'Love you dude, really proud of you, hope I never have to see your butt cheeks again'," Sam read out, bringing a smile to David's face.

Sam began to read the messages from David's children: "Thank you for every ounce of input you have put into our lives."

David began to cry as he continued to listen.

"You always make a conscious effort to see things through the right way," Sam continued.

"We love you and support you all the way, no matter what you do," he concluded.

David then gave Sam a hug and thanked him for what he had done as the group gathered round him. "Cheers guys, bless you. Whatever you had to do Sammy to get me this, thank you," David said.

Sam said that he couldn't say what he had done, but revealed who had challenged him to the task. "One of our wooden friends put me up to it," Sam joked, referring to the Tree of Temptation.

"I'm so pleased about that," added Mario.

"It's lush dude," David concluded, as he took the letter to the bedroom to read it again.

BB11: Sam Gets Tree of Temptation Task

Day 63: Sam has the chance to turn Dave's tears of sadness into tears of joy if he passes the latest Tree of Temptation Task.


The Tree whispered to Sam: "Oi, Where's Wally... I've been watching you, Pepper pot, running around like an oversized 7-year-old. I'm liking your work, you're a lot like me".

He added: "A little birdy tells me that you would do anything to get Dave his children's message. In my drawers is a cheeseboard, full of cheese. Grab some, and smear some under your armpits. You're gonna be the 'Brie of Temptation'."

Sam was told that if he could pass off the cheese as his own odour underneath his horse outfit with Corin today, he will successfully win David his children's message, something the minister failed to do last week.

The housemate promptly took the cheese, rubbed some under his armpits and went back to the sofas, with none of the housemates noticing him talking to the Tree.

Earlier, David cried about the missed message and he was emotional again this afternoon, saying: "It's just a build-up, innit? I'll be fine."

Watch the show on Wednesday to find out if Sam Pepper passes or fails to win the message for Dave.

BB11: Tree of Temptation Ringtones

Day 58: Big Brother have released a selection of ringtones for your mobile phone featuring the Tree of Temptation. Big Brother was able to persuade the Tree to record three ringtones for the official website. It wasn't easy - he's quite a grumpy lump of wood at the best of times, reports Channel 4.

All you have to do is right-click on one of the links below and select "Save Link As". Then copy it to your phone, and Bob's your Righter. To make it even easier for you, they have two different file types, .mp3's and .wav's. Check your phone's manual for which file is best for you.

BB11: Josie Has Hots For John James - It's Official!

Day 37: The friendship between Josie and John James took another twist today as Josie finally admitted she fancies the Australian housemate. The pair have had a love-hate relationship throughout this series of Big Brother, denying they fancied each other and often falling out.

Josie told Caoimhe that she feels awkward in his company and told the girls that she does fancy John James. After avoiding him following his release from the task lair, Josie headed to the Diary Room but he became suspicious she had been set a task by the Tree of Temptation. As John James came to talk to her and ask her what was wrong, she laughed nervously while insisting she was fine.

Confused, John James said: "I like your costume anyway." When Josie continued to laugh, he said: "What, do you not like it? Is that what it is?" He then asked: "Have you been talking to the Tree?"

Josie denied that the Tree of Temptation had given her a task, but John James responded: "That's it isn't it? He's told you to fuck me up or something!" He chuckled as she entered the Diary Room, and asked Caoimhe if Josie had received a secret task. Caoimhe told him that she hadn't, but he laughed: "Yous two are the worst liars in history!"

Walking to the bedroom, John James asked Mario and Ife if they were "in on it" too. Mario said he was "clueless", while Ife hinted: "It's nothing really." John James then asked if Josie's behaviour was something to do with him. Ife replied: "Yeah, but it's nothing that Big Brother has set up."

As more housemates noticed that Josie was acting strangely by going to the Diary Room when there was "no drama" in the house, John James became convinced that she was performing a task and the other girls knew about it.

Returning to the bedroom, he asked: "Does everyone know about this apart from me?" Ife, Caoimhe and Mario said no. "But all the girls know?" he continued. Mario responded: "Sometimes the best questions are the unasked ones."

While the girls continued to be evasive to John James's questioning and struggled not to giggle about the situation, John James became increasingly unnerved. He told Mario: "I hate people laughing and I don't know what it is. I feel like I've got a booger up my nose permanently."

BB11: Ben Punished By Tree Of Temptation

Day 26: Ben was being punished by the Tree of temptation and as part of his day of punishment, Big Brother played two video clips into the House on the monitor.
The first video showed a moment in which Ben told the other housemates a pack of lies regarding what the Tree of Temptation had asked him to do the other night. He said to the housemates he had been asked to take away the rest of Shabby’s hats which he said would be horrible and wouldn’t do it.

He made up this fib when he was rumbled by his fellow housemates while talking to the infamous tree.

The truth came out in the second video, which contained the conversation that actually took place between Ben and the Tree. In this, Ben was asked to organise an arm wrestling competition among the housemates and drop some street slang into conversation.

The object of showing these videos to the housemates was to expose Ben as a ‘Liar Liar Pants on Fire’ (these words appeared on screen at the end) and a quitter as he had clearly made little or no effort to complete what Dave has since termed ‘not exactly an impossible task’.

Added to this, Ben gave up on his punishment task earlier and the other housemates were not happy.

CBB7: Big Brother's Big Beard Speaks Out

As we enter the final few days of Celebrity Big Brother 7, my Big Beard can't help but declare it's love for the reality programme. This time last year we all seemed to have had enough of the Big Brother format - I have to admit, my Big Beard had lost interest last year.

Yet CBB7 has proved that Celebrity Big Brother still has plenty of steam as around 3 million have tuned in each night. CBB goes on just long enough to keep us glued to our TV's (take note BB11 - 90+ days in the house is much too long!).

The celebrity housemates this series have been fascinating to watch, even the non-celeb types have proved fun. But the real attraction this series has been Big Brother itself, added to this we have had the Tree of Temptation spicing things up. Davina McCall proved the format works and even the official website has been better than ever, with constant Twitter updates and selective snippets ensuring we all tune back in each night.

Is this really the end of Celebrity Big Brother? Let's hope CBB returns to our screens in the very near future. Mark my bearded words, the public WANT Celebrity Big Brother to continue!

CBB7: Tree Of Temptation Strikes Again

Day 21: Nicola T became the latest Big Brother housemate too hear the voice from the Tree of Temptation. Here is what Digital Spy had to say on the subject:

The Celebrity Big Brother Tree of Temptation offered Nicola a message from home this morning.

The Tree addressed Nicola as she sat alone in the garden and asked: "How do you fancy a message from home?"

The glamour girl listened as the Tree told her she must play a game called 'Tell and Kiss'.

The Tree said: "Today you must take aside each of the other lot, one at a time, and tell them some home truths. Then give them a kiss. Just a peck, no tongues. I know what you Page Three girls are like."

The Tree told Nicola that "sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind".

Nicola agreed to the task and said: "OK, I won't betray you, I promise."

The Tree confirmed that if Nicola succeeds in her task that she will receive a message from home.

Nicola commented that it was going to be hard to kiss Vinnie because "he's really tall".

The official website has a video of Nicola telling Dane, Jonas a few home truths. She told Dane he smelt and Jonas that he looked like Roland Rat. Meanwhile the funniest part was where she told Ivana she looked like a big fat orange in her outfit!
