BB11: Big Brother Viewing Figures - Day 42 - 49

Two housemates walked and three new housemates entered the Big Brother house as BB11 viewing figures continued to keep over 2 million fans happy each night on Channel 4. Year on year, the viewing figures have improved almost every night and a fitting end to the long running reality programme.

Day 49 (Tue 27 July) - As John James broke free through the fire exit was seen by 2.4 million (13.7%).

Day 48 (Mon 26 July) - The John James/Josie saga continued to entertain 2.35 million (12.8%) and another 126,000 (1.3%) on C4+1

Day 47 (Sun 25 July) - The three new housemates adjusted to life in the BB11 house with 2.21million viewers (8.6%) and 310,000 (1.6%) on C4+1.

Day 46 (Sat 24 July) - The usual Saturday night dip meant that just 1.68 million (7.9%) viewers tuned in.

Day 45 (Fri 23 July) - No eviction but three new housemates and an interview with walker Caoimhe was watched by 2.3 million (10.9%) (+1 222,000 1.3%) and 2.54m (15.7%), +1: 237,000 2.5%) at 9pm and 10.30pm.

Day 44 (Thu 22 July) - BB High Task attracted 2.4m (13.3%) for Channel 4 between 10pm and 11.10pm. The programme took an additional 184,000 (1.9%) as housemates performed their musical number 'Don't Stop Believing'

Day 43 (Wed 21 July) - Andrew Stone (Pineapple Studios) was busy in the BB11 house trying to lead the housemates for BB High Task and 2.43m (13.7%) tuned in between 10pm and 11.10pm. A further 229,000 (2.5%) watched the show on Channel 4 +1.

Day 42 (Tue 20 July) - Tensions high and Caoimhe walking out had 2.41m (13.6%) viewers between 10pm and 11.10pm, and 246k 000 (2.7%).

BB11: John James Leaves Big Brother By Fire Exit

Day 48: Dramatic events took place in the Big Brother house as John James finally cracked and had enough of the house, escaping via the fire exit as emotions ran high. The popular housemate could take the situation with Josie no more. The pair had fallen out earlier after comparing the pair to Shabby and Caoimhe, upsetting Josie in the process.



At 15:20 John James opened the fire exit after a conversation with Josie under the bed covers turned bad as she became upset at John James words, not even allowing him to discuss or apologise about the choice of words. He decided to leave via the Mole Hole door in the garden but Big Brother were waiting on the other side and managed to persuade him to discuss the matter further in the Diary Room.

He re-entered the Big Brother house and apologised to Josie for upsetting her earlier. Watch this space for more news...............

BB11: Caoimhe Walks From Big Brother House

Day 42: After telling Big Brother she wanted to leave the house on many occasions, Irish housemate Caoimhe finally walked out after 42 days. At 1pm today she finally left the Diary Room as the other housemates cheered her goodbye, having told Big Brother that she wanted to leave the house and see her boyfriend and family.

This week had been hard for Caoimhe after she had excluded from nominating because she had told other housemates she wanted to be up for eviction - breaking Big Brother rules. She was at the centre of arguments throughout her time in the house, the latest being her friendship between Josie and John James being tested after apparently flirting with John James.

Since Shabby walked, Caoimhe had become more down beat and almost walked a few times. At the weekend Josie joked with her that the fire exit looked more appealing as the pair threatened to escape from the Big Brother house.

Caoimhe's departure changes this weeks nominations ........... more news to follow!

BB11: Nominations Revealed

Day 41: Housemates nominated today and the two housemates up for eviction at the moment are Caoimhe and Rachel. They will compete against each other in the 'Save and Replace' Task, with the winner picking another housemate to replace them.

New housemates Rachel, Andrew and Keeley nominated for the first time today, while Caoimhe was told that she was not allowed to nominate.

BB11: Caoimhe Feels Isolated By Josie

Day 40: Caoimhe has confided in fellow housemates Corin and Keeley about the recent arguments over John James and Josie. Although the pair had tried to clear the air, it seems there's still rifts of tension between the two, reports the official website.

Keeley tried to grasp the recent developments and asked Caoimhe if she has spoken to the buxom Bristolian about the situation.

'Did you tell her you didn't like him?' asked Keeley, regarding John James. 'Of course' Caoimhe Stated. 'She said she's avoiding me, she can't look at me'.

'It's ridiculous' the Dubliner went on 'It's a bit pathetic to be honest, to let a boy get in the way of a girlfriend'.

Having got caught in the middle of this ménage a trios, it appears Caoimhe wants to stay away from the star crossed lovers. Taking a malevolent tone, she tells Corin and Keeley that she doesn't 'feel comfortable around them two now'.

'I'm not going to go cosy up with them in bed now!' she exclaimed, adding that the situation was 'embarrassing for everyone'.

Caoimhe finished off, reiterating her moral stance on loyalty: 'You never let a boy come between two girl friends. Never'.

BB11: Josie Jealous Of Caoimhe

Day 40: It's kicking off between the girls as Josie confronted Caoimhe this morning about her annoyance with her for flirting with John James reports DigitalSpy.

Josie has recently spoken of her dislike of Caoimhe, mainly due to Caoimhe's friendship with John James. Earlier today Josie spoke to Corin about the situation, saying, "It's got to the point where I can't be in the same room as her." Corin suggested getting it "off your chest", by telling Caoimhe everything before things got any worse.

Shortly afterwards, she joined Ben in the bathroom, who asked her: "How's the Caoimhe/John romance going? Have you stopped it in its tracks?" Josie replied: "No, the poor cow's probably wondering why I'm off with her."

As Caoimhe went to the smoking area, Josie joined her and began telling her how she felt straight away. She said: "I can't lock it up any more. I told you about my feelings for John, and I look round and you're jumping on him [referring to John James and Caoimhe play fighting on Friday night]."

Caoimhe, visibly shocked, said: "Josie, I don't have any feelings for him. Please don't think that. I'm so embarrassed now. I'm having a panic attack now. I don't now what to do. I'm really sorry."

She added: "I would never do that. I don't feel anything for John. I wouldn't be attracted to him in any way. I don't want to be in here any more. I'm mortified." Josie replied: "I had to get it off my chest. I love hanging around with you."

Caoimhe said she didn't realise how strong Josie's feelings were for John James. She then told Josie she has "to tell him how you feel", but Josie insisted it was "only a crush". Caoimhe added, "Clearly not". Caoimhe also said: "I'm so scared of what I have to go home to. I'm a loner in here, I'm spending more time on my own."

Caoimhe then walked off, saying she needed to go to the toilet, with Josie saying, "Caoimhe, I'm so sorry". Shortly afterwards, an upset Caoimhe went to the Diary Room, with Josie telling her, "I can't bear making you feel like that".

Whilst Caoimhe was in the Diary Room, Josie told Steve what had happened, saying: "I feel like I've just shown her right up." Steve said it was best that it was out in the open, but Josie added: "Not when she has a boyfriend at home." Steve said: "She should have thought about that before messing about with Shabby then."

Josie spent the next few moments pacing around the house looking upset and sighing to herself, before going to the Diary Room.

BB11: Ife Evicted From Big Brother

Day 38: The fifth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house was Ife, with 56.5% of the public vote as she went head to head against popular housemates Corin and Mario. Ife had been the bookies favourite after Caoimhe saved herself during the 'Save And Replace Task'.

Ife received a mixed reception from the crowd but came across as honest and genuine during her eviction interview with Davina McCall. Maybe Ife had been a little bit too honest in the BB11 house and should have played the game more to avoid nomination.

BB11: Josie Has Hots For John James - It's Official!

Day 37: The friendship between Josie and John James took another twist today as Josie finally admitted she fancies the Australian housemate. The pair have had a love-hate relationship throughout this series of Big Brother, denying they fancied each other and often falling out.

Josie told Caoimhe that she feels awkward in his company and told the girls that she does fancy John James. After avoiding him following his release from the task lair, Josie headed to the Diary Room but he became suspicious she had been set a task by the Tree of Temptation. As John James came to talk to her and ask her what was wrong, she laughed nervously while insisting she was fine.

Confused, John James said: "I like your costume anyway." When Josie continued to laugh, he said: "What, do you not like it? Is that what it is?" He then asked: "Have you been talking to the Tree?"

Josie denied that the Tree of Temptation had given her a task, but John James responded: "That's it isn't it? He's told you to fuck me up or something!" He chuckled as she entered the Diary Room, and asked Caoimhe if Josie had received a secret task. Caoimhe told him that she hadn't, but he laughed: "Yous two are the worst liars in history!"

Walking to the bedroom, John James asked Mario and Ife if they were "in on it" too. Mario said he was "clueless", while Ife hinted: "It's nothing really." John James then asked if Josie's behaviour was something to do with him. Ife replied: "Yeah, but it's nothing that Big Brother has set up."

As more housemates noticed that Josie was acting strangely by going to the Diary Room when there was "no drama" in the house, John James became convinced that she was performing a task and the other girls knew about it.

Returning to the bedroom, he asked: "Does everyone know about this apart from me?" Ife, Caoimhe and Mario said no. "But all the girls know?" he continued. Mario responded: "Sometimes the best questions are the unasked ones."

While the girls continued to be evasive to John James's questioning and struggled not to giggle about the situation, John James became increasingly unnerved. He told Mario: "I hate people laughing and I don't know what it is. I feel like I've got a booger up my nose permanently."

BB11: Mario Questions Caoimhe About Nomination

Day 36: Being up for eviction tends to make the housemates paranoid and Mario seems to be suffering this week, as Digital Spy reports. Mario has confessed to Caoimhe that he has questioned their relationship after she nominated him in yesterday's 'Save and Replace' task.

After earlier revealing that a "dark", paranoid version of himself was taking over, Mario asked Caoimhe to come with him to the nest to explain in private how much he had been affected by her decision.

"In the last few days I've been thinking people have ulterior motives, I've become suspicious of people," he revealed. "I then started becoming suspicious of you. I was thinking maybe you and Shabby had a hit list, obviously Nathan was first last week and I was next in the hit list."

Caoimhe quickly stated that this was not the case, adding: "I had my own issues with Nathan, I had my reasons to put him up. I had absolutely no reason to put anyone sitting there up."

The Irish student then claimed that she was trying to throw the task yesterday and when she did win she chose Mario because she did not think he would be evicted.

She pointed out that in a way it was better that she won and nominated him, as Ife and Corin would have nominated Ben and John James as their respective replacements, two people she felt were more in danger.

"I genuinely, genuinely think you’re going to have a huge gay following and you’re not going to go on Friday. You’ve already survived, you’re not going to go. And I think you know that," she said.

Mario said that he was worried about the kind of person his paranoia was turning him into.

"Remember those two weeks ago when John was suspicious of everybody and it was starting to destroy him from the [inside] out; I can feel that building up inside of me and I don’t want to be that person," he said.

Caoimhe embraced Mario and told him that it was okay to be suspicious of people in the house sometimes. She reassured him that the "divide" Mario felt was building between them was all in his head.

BB11: Caoimhe Saved From Eviction

Day 35: After winning the head-to-head battle with Ife and Corin, Caoimhe was saved from the public vote. The Western Theme Task proved to be a winner for the Irish housemate, who then selected Mario to replace her.

Mario was angry that Caoimhe had picked him, but she claims he was chosen because she believed he would be safe, but Ife felt her decision was tactical and she wanted Mario out of the house.

Expect sparks to fly as the tension rises inside the Big Brother house, at the moment it is Ife who is most likely to be evicted on Friday.......

Day 34: This weeks Big Brother nominations are in and two housemates could be facing the public vote for the first time - Corin and Ife. Joining them at the moment is Caoimhe, who was saved from the public vote last week after winning the 'Save and Replace' Task.

Caoimhe will need to win this weeks 'Save and Replace' Task to avoid facing the public vote, especially since she is the bookies favourite for eviction on Friday!

BB11: New Housemates Settle In

Day 32: The first night for the three new Big Brother housemates went down well as the house celebrated with champagne. Andrew immediately clicked with Ben, Mario and Dave as he naturally sided with the intellectuals.

Corin was really excited to have some new girly mates. Since Rachel and Keeley have arrived she has been 'buzzing' and says that Rachel is so energetic that it is like a breath of fresh air.
Keeley seemed more subdued but John James seemed eager to get to know her, just how long will it be before Josie gets jealous as the Aussie turns his flirting towards the newest member of the Big Brother house?
 
 

Ben wasted no time in getting to know Keeley as he gave her the low down on the housemates as they chatted in The Nest.

Josie jokingly warned Keeley not to make John James angry or he would bite her head off. Keeley replied that she already knew all about John James' temper and said that she would make sure he behaves himself.

Andrew admitted that he found it weird being surrounded by so many cameras. Caoimhe reassured him that he would get used to it after a few days and he would eventually forget about them all together.

Finally Rachel got some insight of her own from John James. The Aussie walked her through some of the tasks that have taken place, he then told her how the housemates do the shopping list every week.

Yet within hours of their arrival, Ben was soon bitching about one of the new housemates, branding Keeley as 'Cruella'!

BB11: Caoimhe Proposes To Boyfriend

Day 28: It didn't take long for Caoimhe to get over Shabby's departure from the Big Brother house according to this story from the official website. Some of the housemates have been discussing Caoimhe’s boyfriend and whether or not Big Brother would put him in the House.

Caoimhe then went on to tell them how they fell in love instantly and they then went on to talk about marriage. Caoimhe told the others that she would propose to her boyfriend in the Diary Room and Dave offered to marry them in the House.

The Irish lass then went on to get down on one knee to demonstrate how she would propose. She said she would want Ben to be her best man and that John James could be flower boy.

She then went to the Diary Room to propose to her boyfriend!

Could this be the first ever Big Brother wedding? The first ever genuine one anyway- forget Mario and Lisa!

BB11: Latest Housemates Up For Eviction

Day 28: After the drama of Shabby's sudden departure from Big Brother, housemates still had the task of nominating. This week just two housemates are up for eviction so far, Caoimhe and John James both received the most nominations and would have faced the public vote on Friday.

Big Brother added the 'Save And Replace' Task into the equation and Caoimhe beat John James, she picked Nathan to replace her for eviction.

BB11: Shabby Leaves Big Brother

Day 27: According to the official Big Brother website, at 15.08 this afternoon Shabby made the final decision to leave the Big Brother House. After lengthy conversations with Big Brother and her fellow housemates, she left via the Diary Room.

Describing herself as the 'most unpopular housemate' Shabby said that her time in the Big Brother House had come to an end.

It follows an argument with Ife last night following a party for five of the housemates as a task prize.

After this, both Caoimhe and Shabby asked to leave the House. Caoimhe has also requested to leave today but has decided to spend some time thinking about it.

Shabby has requested to leave the House a few times in the past couple of weeks. She faced eviction twice and last week made a pact to leave with Caoimhe should one have been evicted in the public vote but both were saved on Friday night as Sunshine was evicted.

Shabby will be remembered for her love for Caoimhe, her hot headed tantrums, crying over her hat and for wearing copious amounts of black eyeliner.
