And that’s a bit like what happened to Brooklyn Decker, except she successfully auditioned for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, married Andy Roddick and made a guest appearance on Ugly Betty. You go, girl!
Admittedly, Decker had been doing alright for herself before the move to the Big Apple, having been spotted in a shopping mall in Charlotte she was already modelling long before she headed to NY. She even picked up a 'Model of the Year' award in 2003. But then she hit the really big time.
